Craig Blackburn, the alleged victim, claimed that the confrontation began when he was loading groceries into his car while enjoying a hot dog.
A man waiting for a parking spot nearby started yelling at him, sparking a verbal exchange between Blackburn and the driver of a white Toyota Corolla.
According to investigators, Blackburn spent approximately three minutes unloading his groceries while the Corolla driver waited for an open parking space.
After finishing, Blackburn and the other individual exchanged words, prompting Blackburn to leave and then return shortly after.
A second camera angle captured Blackburn’s white SUV returning to the area where the initial exchange occurred.
During this moment, an object was thrown from Blackburn’s vehicle.
As the situation escalated, Blackburn exited his car, leading to a physical altercation between the two individuals.
They tumbled to the ground, engaging in a fight that ended with both parties sustaining injuries.
Blackburn claims to have spent six hours in the hospital as a result of his injuries.
However, despite Blackburn’s account of the incident, the District Attorney’s Office reviewed the surveillance footage and concluded that no charges would be pressed.
