H-3 Hit-and-Run Incident Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition

Kaneohe, Honolulu – A hit-and-run incident on the H-3 freeway has left a pedestrian in critical condition.

The City and County of Honolulu reported a road closure on Friday, May 5, due to the incident.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 8:30 PM last night when a 20-year-old woman was checking a stalled motorcycle on the left shoulder lane.

A vehicle, possibly a black sedan or sports car, struck the woman and fled the scene without stopping to provide assistance.

The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact the police.

They are particularly interested in any details about the black sedan or sports car involved in the hit-and-run.

In other news, a furlough inmate named Milton Kapule, who had gone missing from Laumaka Work Furlough housing, was apprehended by the police this morning.
