Two doctors testified on Wednesday in the ongoing ski collision trial between actress Gwyneth Paltrow and optometrist Terry Sanderson.
Sanderson is suing Paltrow for $300,000 in damages after a 2016 skiing incident at a Utah ski resort left him with permanent brain damage, broken ribs, and emotional distress.
The doctors presented X-rays, brain scans, and neurological tests documenting Sanderson’s injuries, with one neuroradiologist testifying that it was unlikely that Sanderson’s injuries were caused by him running into Paltrow.
A neuropsychologist also testified, stating that Sanderson’s rapid downturn in mood and brain function could not be explained by problems he had before the collision.
Paltrow is expected to take the stand soon.
