A man has been arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail after allegedly pointing a gun at a woman’s head and demanding she perform a sex act on him in a massage parlor in Eustis, Florida.
The victim was able to resist and escape unharmed.
The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Timothy Taylor, is facing charges of attempted sexual assault and several other offenses.
Police say Taylor threatened the victim with what appeared to be a handgun, but it was later discovered to be a pellet gun.
After fleeing the scene, Taylor was tracked down and arrested by law enforcement in the woods about three miles away.
He is currently being held in jail on a $76,000 bond.
The victim’s actions were praised by Eustis Police Chief Craig Capri, who said that her ability to fight back and escape was a good thing.
