Slovakia has announced that it will be sending 13 MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter jets to Ukraine as a sign of support.
The decision was made after the Slovakian government approved the move, which had been requested by Ukrainian President Zelensky.
The move has been welcomed by other countries, with Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda, announcing that Ukraine will receive four MiG-29 fighter jets soon, while Denmark’s prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, said that Western countries are discussing the possibility of sending fighter jets to Ukraine.
The move comes amid ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia, and is seen as a way of ensuring that Ukraine can defend itself and all of Europe against Russian aggression.
