Police in Goshen Township have released body camera footage from an officer-involved shooting that took place last month.
The footage shows repeated attempts by officers to de-escalate the situation before they were forced to open fire on a woman who was threatening to commit suicide with a gun.
The woman, Pamela Gilbert, survived the shooting and is now facing felony charges.
The footage also shows officers trying to slow down the situation and urging Gilbert to surrender before she pointed her gun at an officer.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations is currently investigating the incident.
