Local Meteorologist Mary Ours has warned that Pittsburgh residents should bundle up as frigid weather continues to grip the area.
According to the KDKA-TV Morning Forecast, it is currently 70 degrees, but it feels like six degrees due to strong winds from the west southwest blowing at speeds of 10 to 15 miles per hour.
There are scattered snow showers north of I-80 that may leave some areas with a coating of up to an inch.
Temperatures are expected to only reach the upper 30s today, with wind chills in the mid to upper 20s.
However, warmer weather is expected tomorrow, with highs of 50 degrees, thanks to high pressure building in.
The forecast also predicts a lot of sunshine and mostly clear skies on Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures reaching near 60 degrees.
Showers are expected on Wednesday evening, which may last through Thursday.
However, temperatures will rebound, reaching 65 degrees by Thursday, and around 60 degrees on Friday and Saturday.
