Friday’s warm weather in Winston-Salem is set to continue with even higher temperatures expected for tomorrow.
The forecast area has seen temperatures in the mid to upper seventies, with some areas reaching 80 degrees.
Although it is ten degrees away from the record high of 89, it is 15 degrees above average.
The evening will still be mild and breezy, with occasional gusts of wind.
Midnight temperatures will remain in the fifties.
Tomorrow is expected to be a couple of degrees warmer, making it the third warmest March 24th on record, reaching 84 degrees.
The Piedmont Triad will see mostly sunny skies and a warm morning air coming in from the southwest.
The Foothills and the High Country will also have pleasant weather, with temperatures getting into the low eighties in the afternoon.
However, a change in weather is expected over the weekend, with rain and thunderstorms predicted for Saturday.
Sunday is expected to be much nicer.
