Fort Wayne Boxing Club Hosts USA Sanctioned Event for Local Youth

Prime Boxing in Fort Wayne, a local gym, organized a USA boxing sanctioned event to promote the sport among local youth in need.

More than a hundred young boxers from across the Midwest competed in the event held at the gym today.

The gym offers both public and private boxing lessons, as well as after-school programs for both boys and girls.

The organizers say that their main focus is to set kids on the right path, and the foundation of Prime is education.

“We check their grades when they come in.

We want to make sure they’re doing well in school.

We talk to the kids, get to know them, and then craft out a boxing plan for them and a workout plan for them that best fits them to help achieve their goals,” said one of the organizers.

The event was not only about boxing, but it was also about providing a safe and positive environment for the youth to develop their skills and build self-confidence.

World champion boxer Lamon Brewster also visited the gym to coach the young boxers and sign autographs.

The fights are still underway, and anyone interested in attending the event can do so.

The Prime Boxing gym is committed to promoting the sport of boxing and helping local youth achieve their full potential.
