The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is aiming to recruit more women into law enforcement.
To achieve this, the agency is hosting a Sheriff Women’s Open House event from 9 am to noon.
The event will include in-person demonstrations from the SWAT team and K-9 units, as well as the use of force simulator and a Q&A session.
The event will take place at the Sheriff’s Office located on North Church.
This initiative is part of the agency’s efforts to increase diversity and representation within its ranks.
Women interested in a career in law enforcement are encouraged to attend the event and learn more about the opportunities available to them.
