Former Border Patrol Chief Ron Vitiello has criticized the Mexican President for not taking responsibility for the country’s cartel problem.
In an interview with Fox Business, Vitiello expressed shock at the President’s denial of cartel violence, drug trafficking, and human trafficking in Mexico.
He urged the President to admit that the country has a problem with cartels and take action to address it.
Vitiello also criticized the White House for ignoring the border problem for the past two years.
He suggested that declaring the cartels as terrorist organizations and sending in the military to bust up their labs could be a solution.
Vitiello emphasized that the cartels are causing chaos, death, and destruction in Mexico and urged the President to take the matter seriously.
