A video captured the incredible sight of a deer leaping over two cars and landing in a pickup truck in New Jersey. But the story doesn’t end there. As 13-year-old Troy Westcott was playing basketball with his dog Parker outside his home in Maz Landing, he heard rustling in the leaves.
The dog spotted the deer first, and just as impressive as the leap was the timing – a prospective buyer arrived to purchase the 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup at the exact same moment. The deer collided with the truck, causing a dent that saved the buyer $1,000 off the asking price. The incident went viral, with people asking about the deer’s well-being and if the truck was still available for sale (which it was not).
