Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Fire at Cockeysville Businesses
In Cockeysville, firefighters are currently engaged in a fierce battle against a two-alarm fire that broke out on Wednesday afternoon, engulfing multiple businesses.
Baltimore County fire officials informed 11 News that emergency services were summoned just before 3 p.m.
to the 10800 block of York Road, where thick plumes of smoke were emanating from a commercial building.
Furthermore, in another breaking news development, crews are currently combatting a building fire in Kharkiv Ville.
Firefighters swiftly responded to the scene located near York Road and Kharkiv Ville Road at approximately 3:00 this afternoon.
Due to the ferocity of the blaze, a second alarm was called in to summon additional resources.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported thus far.
However, our on-site crew reports that a rugged gallery and a computer clinic have suffered significant damage as a result of the fire.
As a safety precaution, the road has been temporarily closed, impeding traffic flow, to allow first responders to effectively manage the situation.
