Fire Crews Battle House Fire in West San Antonio
Firefighters are currently battling a house fire just west of downtown San Antonio on Monterey Street.
Upon arrival, the structure was heavily on fire, and smoke could be seen coming downwind.
The fire crews are working to extinguish the fire and get rid of the smoke.
According to a Kensified reporter, Troy Kless, who arrived on the scene, the firefighters are throwing a lot of the interior decorations out into the front yard.
There is no word yet on how many people were inside the house, but at least one person was given CPR.
The condition of the person is unknown at this time.
A lot of burnt debris is being pulled out of the house, and there is still a lot of smoke pouring out of the structure.
Multiple fire units and firefighters are still on the scene, trying to contain the fire and minimize any damage.
Residents in the area have come out of their homes to watch the events unfold.
The San Antonio Fire Department has not released any further information at this time, but the Kensified team is waiting for updates and will provide more information as it becomes available.
