Good morning, Shelby Kylie. Both the Oklahoma City and Warr Acres fire departments arrived at the reported house fire just west of Lake Hefner last night around midnight. Crews were called to heavy smoke and fire coming from a garage.

They worked together to prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the home. The garage and a car inside it suffered the majority of the damage. Firefighters quickly gained control of the fire and contained it to the garage area. The rest of the home is being ventilated to clear out the heavy smoke. According to crews, the homeowner was present when the fire started and medical crews were called to assess their condition.
