A Seattle father is in jail after turning himself in for his alleged involvement in the murder of a 59-year-old man in Moclips.

Rufus Phelps III surrendered to Seattle law enforcement while his son, Rufus Phelps IV, remains on the run.

The shooting occurred on Monday and was believed to be a result of a property dispute.

Detectives suspect that Phelps IV was an accomplice in the crime and have developed probable cause to arrest him.
