One person has died following an industrial incident at a quarry in St.
Lucie County, Florida.
The Mine Safety and Health Administration has confirmed the fatality at the Vulcan Materials Company site.
The victim has been identified as Kenneth Wright, who was operating an excavator when the ground gave way and he fell into the water.
Rescue crews have returned to the site to recover his body.
Vulcan was able to send an underwater camera down, but the search has not yet been successful.
Wright leaves behind two daughters and a stepson.
