One person has died following an early morning shooting at a sports bar in Gallup, New Mexico.
According to police, the victim had an argument with a male suspect at the bar and asked security to escort him to his vehicle.
As the victim and the guard were walking to the car, the suspect ran up and shot the victim.
The guard returned fire and the suspect is now being treated at a hospital.
The names of the victim and the suspect have not yet been released.
This is an ongoing investigation and a reward may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
