We have a tragic update from the Fox 13 Newsroom. Unfortunately, the woman who was attacked by dogs in her own backyard last week has passed away from her injuries. The incident occurred on Tuesday at approximately 2:30 pm when she called the police to report the attack.
The dogs responsible for the attack were owned by her 38-year-old son, who resided with her. Upon arrival, the police discovered that two pitbulls were the culprits behind the attack.
Initially, her leg had to be amputated, and she was in critical condition. However, Fox 13 has since learned that she did not survive her injuries. The exact cause of her death and the events leading to this tragic incident are still being investigated by the police.
