A deadly accident near the University of Southern Indiana has been identified by authorities.

The incident occurred on Broadway Avenue and Nuremberg Road just before 9 pm last night.

Dorothy Roth, a 65-year-old driver from Evansville, was involved in the crash and tragically died at the scene.

The County Coroner’s office confirmed the identity of the driver.

The sheriff’s department was also present at the scene.
