We regret to inform you that one person has lost their life in this incident. The crash occurred this morning at around 8:30 at the intersection of Route 84 and 21st Avenue.
Both drivers involved in the accident were rushed to Mercy 1 Hospital in Clinton. Unfortunately, one of the drivers passed away at the hospital, but their identity is being withheld at this time. The other driver has been discharged from the hospital, having sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Moreover, they have also received a citation for improper lane usage..
