Southbound lanes of Interstate 35 have been closed due to a deadly crash that occurred near the Northeast 36th area.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an armored truck crossed over from the northbound lane to the southbound traffic and collided with another vehicle, resulting in a devastating crash.
The incident has caused a two to three-mile backup on southbound I-35 all the way to Britain.
Traffic is being diverted, and drivers are advised to find alternative routes.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, and no further details have been released yet.
