The family of Rayne Elaine Rice, a 27-year-old mother of two, is pleading for answers following her murder nearly three months ago.
Rice had just won a singing contest, which possibly secured her a spot on a reality TV competition.
She was on her way home to Del Rio when she was shot and killed along I-10 in San Antonio.
Rice’s family is urging anyone with information to come forward and help bring the killer to justice.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for tips leading to an arrest in the case.
Anyone with information can call 210-224-STOP and remain anonymous.
Rice’s children, ages one and four, are now left without a mother, and her family is devastated by their loss.
The suspect’s vehicle, a dark-colored SUV, was seen traveling westbound on Cesar Chavez in South Flores behind a white Hummer limo just moments before the shooting.
Despite extensive investigations, there is still no known motive for the crime.
