Family of Murdered Teen Increases Reward for Information on Killer

The family of Charles Highlands, an 18-year-old who was fatally shot at a gas station in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, last August, has increased the reward for information on his killer.

His mother, Pamela Highlands, spoke about the pain of losing her son, who would have turned 21 today.

She also revealed that her son had been selling marijuana and may have angered someone.

Despite receiving tips and having suspects, investigators are struggling to make arrests due to limited information.

The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer has been raised from $15,000 to $30,000.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the detective personally at (772) 807-4401.
