The polls are now open for election day and over 13,000 people have already taken advantage of early voting in Onaa County. The polls will remain open until 9 p.m. tonight. However, before you go, make sure to double-check your polling location as some places have closed due to redistricting.
If you are voting by absentee ballot, remember that it must be postmarked by today. The Anadea County Board of Elections has stated that they have already received over half of the requested ballots.
The county executive race is of significant interest, with Republican Ryan McMahon currently holding the position and being challenged by Democrat Bill Kenny. Additionally, Republican district attorney Bill Fitzpatrick is facing two challengers this year, Democrat Chuck Keller and conservative Christina Varga. In Ithaca, Robert Kelmo is running on the Working Families and Democratic lines, while Janice Kelly is running as a Republican.

In Syracuse, three teenage girls were shot, with one in critical condition. The incident occurred when a man was searching for a stolen car on Grant Boulevard and found a group of teens inside.
He shot into the car, injuring the three girls. He has been taken into custody. In Manhattan, chaos erupted in court as a judge asked the attorneys for former President Donald Trump to control their client.
Trump is currently standing trial for fraud, accused of inflating the value of his assets. Trump has accused the judge of bias against him, and his daughter Ivanka is expected to testify later this week.
