A tragic accident in the town of Geddes has left a 36-year-old man dead.
Onondaga County sheriff’s deputies reported that the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, at around 4:30 am, on the westbound 690 off-ramp to John Glenn Boulevard.
According to the authorities, the man lost control of his vehicle and hit a culvert.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver’s identity has not yet been released, pending notification of his family.
No other individuals or vehicles were involved in the accident.
The John Glenn Boulevard ramps from i-690 are currently closed until further notice.
