A driver caused chaos in West Des Moines, crashing into several vehicles and a house, according to local police.
The incident reportedly occurred on 7th Street, with authorities alleging that the driver was speeding when they lost control of their car.
Two other vehicles were struck before the driver plowed into a house.
A woman was thrown from her car during the crash but did not suffer any major injuries.
Emergency responders evacuated the house, and the gas line was shut down by Mid-American officials.
However, police confirmed that there was no ongoing gas leak.
