Since 1997, there has been a championship baseball game held at Citi Field. This year, two dominant teams from the Dominican Republic Winter League are competing in the Titans of the Caribbean Series.

Fans from all over the Tri-state area and even from the Dominican Republic have flocked to Citi Field to witness this unique brand of baseball. Former Mets players such as Juan Lagares and Francisco Pena, along with his father and Dominican baseball legend Tony Pena, have also returned to Queens for this special event. The atmosphere at the stadium is electric, despite the chilly November weather. The crowd is excited and thrilled to be a part of this historic game.
