Family Desperately Searching for Missing Teen, Alinka Angeline Castaneda, Last Seen on New Year’s Day

The family of Alinka Angeline Castaneda is pleading for her safe return after the 16-year-old went missing from her home in Carson on New Year’s Day.

According to her family, Alinka was last seen outside her house in the 23000 block of South Caroldale Avenue at around 5 a.m.

All of her belongings, including her clothes, wallet, backpack, and cell phone, were left behind, leading the family to fear that she may be the victim of human trafficking.

They received three phone calls from Alinka, in which she said she was unable to leave her location, causing alarm and prompting suspicions about who is holding her hostage.

Although a male was captured on a neighborhood security camera walking by Alinka’s house on the morning she disappeared, the family is still searching for answers.

The LA County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case, and a retired LAPD detective is helping the family with their search.

The last phone call from Alinka was 20 days ago, and her cell phone has since been turned off.

Her mother, Gina Avila, is pleading for her daughter’s safe return and is urging anyone with information to contact the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

The family is hoping for a positive update soon and appreciates everyone who is keeping them in their thoughts and prayers.
