Two school administrators were shot at Denver East High School on Wednesday morning.
The suspect is a student at the school and is currently on the run.
The weapon used was a handgun, which was found during a daily search of the student.
The student had previously been searched without incident, but on Wednesday morning, they produced the weapon and fired shots, hitting two school administrators.
