Newly obtained surveillance videos reveal a deadly stabbing inside a fish market in Harlem that occurred last month.

The footage shows that the incident began when two brothers, Malik and Robert Burrell, were accused of stealing shrimp from the express fish market.

Employees pushed one of the men out, but the brothers returned and started throwing stools at the workers.

The altercation escalated until one of the workers grabbed a knife, which resulted in both brothers being stabbed.

Malik did not survive.

The family claims that Robert was only at the market to pick up food for his brother’s birthday and had no reason to steal from the store.

The employee, 34-year-old Junior Hernandez, was initially charged with murder, but the charge was later dropped.

He is currently facing assault charges as prosecutors continue to investigate whether his actions were justified.
