Witnesses claim that the driver of the Camry was going at least 80 miles per hour, well over the city’s 25 mph speed limit.

The driver, identified as 49-year-old Vitali Connor playoff, did not have a license and was arrested at the scene.

He is facing multiple charges, including manslaughter and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

The crash also involved a third vehicle, a 2021 Chevy Equinox, which sustained minor damage and injured the passengers inside.

The tragedy has left many in the Brooklyn community reeling, with family members waiting for loved ones who did not make it home due to the reckless driving of others.
