A Chicago police officer was injured during a scuffle over his service weapon in Lincoln Park on Friday night.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Cleveland, Lincoln, and Dickens, and resulted in gunfire, although it does not appear that anyone was hit.
The officer was hurt, but not seriously, and the suspect involved is still at large.
The civilian office of police accountability, Copa, is also responding to the incident.
There is currently a large police presence in the area, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
