In South Lake Tahoe, a covered walkway at an apartment building partially collapsed due to the weight of snow on the roof.
The incident took place on San Francisco Avenue, causing several people to be rescued from their homes.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but five people had to be evacuated from the apartment complex using a ladder.
The collapse has forced these residents to find alternative accommodation for the night.
