A husband and wife have been arrested and charged with moving a dead body in Perquimans County.
Tia and Holden Medlin are accused of moving the man’s body from Perquimans County to Pasquotank County to hide the death.
On January 30th, the man’s body was found on Pear Tree Road.
Investigators say they found guns and drugs in the Medlin’s car.
In an update from deputies on March 16th, the Sheriff’s office arrested Brittany Cartlege on March 14th in connection to the incident.
Cartlege is facing charges of concealing and failing to report a death in reference to an overdose.
