Cottage Fire Breaks Out in Nānākuli, Oahu

A small cottage in Nānākuli, Oahu, caught fire on Keaulana Avenue, near Nanakuli Beach Park, shortly before 5:30 pm.

The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responded to the call and found that the blaze had damaged the cottage in the back of the property, along with a carport, boat, and other vehicles.

Fortunately, no one was inside the cottage at the time of the incident.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the authorities.

Meanwhile, firefighters were also called to a business on Nimitz Highway that went up in flames.

The call came in just before two in the afternoon, initially as a vehicle fire.

The building and several vehicles were damaged in the fire.
