There a major story in Milwaukee where police suspect that a convicted offender is responsible for the death of a woman who went missing. However, they were able to question him as ended his own life.
Our, Sam Kramer, is live at the County Courthouse to provide details. According to a search obtained from the courthouse, the found the suspect, Jeromeames, on Friday.
Their intention was ask him about the disappearance Sierra Barry. Unfortunately, Fames took own life, and the police believe also killed Barry. I have with me Toana, who expresses her desire to spend time with her niece,, but now it is only of necessity. The worry when Sierra, her sister, did not show up usual for her children.
The family last heard from on Wednesday and sought help the police on Friday. It incredibly surreal for the family, and they none of this is real.
family informed the police that was last seen with Fames, a 69-year-old registered sex offender who was under GPS monitoring. The police located Fames at a gas station near 91st in Silver Spring on Friday. However, as they approached him to conduct an interview, Fames fatally shot himself 60 miles away in the town of Daran. The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a suspicious death on Thursday, which was later identified as Barry by her family on Friday.
The officers believe she was shot and killed in a different location. The Walworth County Medical Examiner ruled her death as a homicide. The family is devastated, and it is difficult to comprehend how someone could take away such a person, leaving only memories for her loved ones. The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office expects to provide more information on this case tomorrow.
