Comicon Draws Tens of Thousands of Fans to Toronto

Tens of thousands of fans of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming have gathered in Toronto this weekend for Comicon.

The event, one of the city’s largest for gamers, sci-fi, and horror fans, is being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center from 10 a.m.

until 7 p.m.

today and 10 a.m.

until 5 p.m.

tomorrow.

Visitors to the convention center are being treated to a range of collectibles, from the sentimental to the rare and sought after.

Tristan Top Pops, a collectible connoisseur, says that he’s on the hunt for unique items that he can’t find in normal stores.

In addition to the collectibles, the event is known for its cosplay, with fans dressing up as their favorite characters from comics, movies, and video games.

For many, Comicon is a place where they can be themselves without fear of judgment.

The event is expected to wrap up on Sunday, leaving fans already looking forward to next year’s Comicon.
