In the experiment, a CNN journalist in Los Angeles used the app to chat with a match in New York, testing whether the AI could provide useful conversation starters and witty responses.
However, the experiment did not go smoothly, with the journalist struggling to come up with puns and jokes, and the match feeling uninterested and unengaged.
While the app has potential, it currently requires further development before it can be used practically.
