Family of Cleveland EMT grateful she’s home after missing for days

The family of 30-year-old Lachelle Jordan expressed their gratitude as she returned home safely after being missing for five days.

Lachelle, an emergency medical technician from Cleveland, was hospitalized after seeking help at a local store on Thursday.

The latest updates on her recovery are provided by NBC News correspondent Jesse Kirsch.

Lachelle’s family had pleaded for assistance during her absence, but their worries were alleviated when she suddenly reappeared.

They are immensely grateful to have her back with them.

Lachelle’s strength and determination to fight through her ordeal are acknowledged and appreciated by her family.

The store manager, where Lachelle was captured on surveillance camera, shared the shocking footage.

She can be seen entering the store, limping and wearing torn clothes before approaching the counter to make a call.

The identity of the person in the video has not been confirmed by the police.

Interestingly, the store is located on the same block where Lachelle was eventually found alive.

Lachelle has since shared a harrowing story of her escape, revealing that her captors had attempted to burn her alive.

Although she suffered trauma and injuries, she is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital and is expected to recover.

The police have not disclosed any information regarding suspects or the reasons behind her disappearance.

However, it is worth noting that her disappearance coincided with the anticipated court appearance of an individual facing charges of rape and abduction.

Lachelle had a protection order against this individual, who was arrested for violating the order but has not been connected to her case.

Efforts to reach the suspect or his lawyer have been unsuccessful thus far.

Jesse Kirsch reports on the ongoing investigation from Cleveland, where the police continue to gather information.

Lachelle’s family is hopeful for progress in the case.
