The Chicago Bears have signed Tremaine Edmunds, a star linebacker formerly of the Buffalo Bills, to a massive four-year deal.
The deal is worth $72 million with $50 million guaranteed, which is 69 percent of its overall value.
This makes it the largest four-year contract for an inside linebacker in the NFL.
The deal was negotiated by Todd France of Athletes First.
The Bears are making some significant moves under new general manager Ryan Poles.
In addition to Edmunds, they have also added offensive weapons like Nate Davidson and DJ Moore, as well as big-time power and speed on defense.
Edmunds is considered one of the young rising stars of the NFL, and his arrival in Chicago is sure to make an impact.
