Two teenagers were shot during a large disturbance in the Loop area of Chicago over the weekend.

According to reports, hundreds of teens caused chaos on the streets, resulting in the arrests of 15 individuals, six of whom were juveniles.

Most of the arrests were related to reckless conduct, but one 16-year-old boy was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and a firearm was also recovered.

The community activists are demanding more support from city leadership for the police, with frustrations mounting over the escalating crime in the city.

Footage of the incident showed young people jumping on parked cars, kicking passing cars, and even climbing on CTA buses.

One person was assaulted, and there were reports of shots being fired, which injured the two teenagers.

The incident has left many concerned about the safety of the city, and community activists are calling for a harsher enforcement of the curfew for unaccompanied minors in the Millennium Park area.
