There will be a mild breeze in the air ahead of a cold front that will arrive later this afternoon. As a result, the weather will be changeable today with a chance of a couple showers.

Temperatures will rise into the fifties to lower sixties for a few hours this afternoon. The winds will pick up later today, leading to a gradual cooling down that will continue into tonight.

Low temperatures will be in the twenties and thirties, with highs tomorrow reaching the forties. Some areas may not escape the thirties.

On Thursday, another system will move in, bringing the possibility of rain showers or a wintry mix in some places. There is a front approaching from the north and west that will arrive later this afternoon.

There could be a few passing showers along the front, and cooler air will follow as the winds shift to the northwest. This could bring a few flurries to the mountains tomorrow, while the rest of the region will experience sunshine and temperatures in the forties for Wednesday afternoon.

Temperatures will drop back into the twenties on Wednesday evening, with increasing clouds overnight. Thursday’s precipitation will be light, with the possibility of some light snow up north or a wintry mix or showers in southern areas of the state. Temperatures will mainly be in the thirties.

After this system passes, there will be several days of fair weather starting on Friday and lasting through the weekend. The warmest day will be today, with temperatures cooling down on Thursday due to rain showers or a light wintry mix..
