In the championship game, with a final record of 12 wins and 1 loss, Kentucky Power Football and Middletown State title contender Christian Academy hosted E-Town. From the very beginning of the game, it was clear that the Centurions were in control. The score was tied at zero in the first quarter when the CAL defense made a big play. Connor Hodge tackled Trey Durbin in the Panthers’ end zone, resulting in a Centurion’s iron safety.
The defense took a 2-0 lead. CAL quickly regained possession of the ball and Jeff Vazzana took advantage of the opportunity.
