Central Florida Receives Much-Needed Rainfall
Central Florida is experiencing some much-needed rainfall as a system moves across the area.

The system is producing gusty storms, particularly in Brevard County, with heavy rain expected to wrap up in the next hour or two.

The rainfall amounts over the last 12 hours have been significant, with some areas receiving up to an inch of rain.

Temperatures are expected to drop dramatically tonight, with lows in the low 50s in the metro area.

Tomorrow’s highs will only climb into the upper 60s to low 70s.

However, a stretch of dry weather is expected toward the end of the week, with the next front arriving over the weekend bringing widespread rain on Saturday.

Despite lingering showers on Sunday, a dry stretch of weather is expected through Friday.
