Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory in Effect for Central Alabama
Residents in Central Alabama are being warned of freezing temperatures and the possibility of frost as a Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory are in effect.
Despite a slight increase in humidity and cloudiness, there will still be a chance of frost, which could harm sensitive vegetation.
The Freeze Warning will be in effect until 8 a.m.
on Tuesday morning, and temperatures are expected to be the coldest of the week.
A long-range forecast model suggests that there will be a line of showers and thunderstorms moving through on Friday evening, but the unsettled weather will subside by Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, temperatures in the 6 to 10 day outlook are expected to be warmer than average, with the average high being 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
