Carson Daly’s son, Jackson, got a chance to interview and tour behind the scenes with Blake Shelton on “The Voice” for Nightly News Kids Edition.
During the interview, Shelton shared advice for Jackson if he’s considering auditioning for the show, stating that the age to try out is 13.
He also advised Jackson to not pursue music as a career, saying he had heard him sing and didn’t think it was his calling.
The exclusive tour of the set included a look at the chair that has heaters on it, and Jackson was walked around the entire set.
