The CAPSLO shelter located at 40 Prado has received a $2.5K disaster relief grant from the Altrusa International Foundation.

The grant was presented by Altrusa International of San Luis Obispo County to CAPSLO to aid in their community efforts following several winter storms.

The shelter is in need of sleeping bags, tents, clothing, and shoes due to the extreme weather and higher demand for homeless services.

Altrusa International Foundation has stated that they wanted to help CAPSLO stock up on needed items from their wish list during this time of need.

CAPSLO is grateful for the generous grant and is thrilled to be able to make a difference in the lives of many people in their community.
