Cal Poly students organized a heartwarming egg hunt in order to boost community spirits on the Central Coast.

Over 150 people attended the event, searching for more than 1,000 eggs which contained positive messages, chocolate, gift cards, and even a grand prize of $1,000.

The event was put on by Cal Poly’s Mindset Club with the goal of promoting community awareness and positivity.

The club was founded by freshman Justin Ho, who started the organization during high school after noticing the poor mental health of his classmates during the pandemic.

Local sponsors contributed to the event, providing gift cards and prize money.

The egg hunt was a fun and uplifting experience that brought the community together in a positive way.
