As winter comes to a close, the final weekend is proving to be bitterly cold, with temperatures well below average.

The eastern half of the country is experiencing extremely cold weather, and the same is true in the viewing area, with temperatures in the 20s and 30s.

The First Alert Storm Team seven day forecast shows that while the first two days will be cold, with temperatures at 38 and 41 degrees, respectively, there is some hope on the horizon.

Spring will arrive on Monday, with temperatures in the low 50s, and later in the week, temperatures will reach up to 60 degrees.

However, for now, the cold weather is here to stay.
